I'm in work.  :'(

But do have a hangover (in the spirit of the event) if that's any consolation.

Anyway, here's another excuse to show off my excellent PJ Holden Judge Joyce commission.

Thanks Goaty
Spent near seven hours in total in the car going to a match in Dublin, which we lost. The well oiled money making  juggernaut that is the GAA is a sight to behold, still, a great day out, I had the two oldest with me and we caught a bit of the crowd from the parade, and they got to Easons.

Having a few now, on a marathon read of Fables, I picked up the first 15 volumes handy, what a cracking read so far I'm on Vol 5.

Fascinating to watch our new family traditions become entrenched: had green pancakes for breakfast (wife did them as a joke 2 years ago, now the kids demand it as a human right), then we went for a walk and our traditional first sea-swim of the year (reasoning that March is as cold as the sea gets, so every swim from now on will seem warmer), which was a lot balmier than this time last year.  Then on to the fabulously local Viking-themed parade in Wicklow town, this year enlivened by three participating fire engines getting a call and having to do 180s in a packed street and plough through the tail of the parade, shedding ride-along children as they went.  Unfortunately I was working 'til 5am this morning so that I could free up the day (no public holidays for the self-employed), and as a result was a bit frazzled, but still a fun one, free of booze.

Ireland winning 6 nations; Liverpool tanking Man U; more progress on the MegaMap and a few scoops and great craic in the pub....I've had a belter of a St Pat's! Z

Ireland winning 6 nations...

Don't forget Ireland beating Zimbabwe - a Full Member Test nation, lest we forget - at the T20 cricket.

That's no pint Judge joyce is holding.  To be sure, is it some class of a benny he is, at all, at all?

Hah, never noticed that before!  Maybe Dillon is just applying the McMahon Boot Technique to gloves?  Or maybe only having a glass is Joyce's answer to Dredd's tight boots...

PJ can draw one though.
Granted, he probably had one on his desk as 'reference'.

I have no idea what you're all on about.

Is this what it's like for non-Scottish people when they talk to me?

Sorry, that's all just noise to me.

Indeed.  I've read the dialogue in every other Wagner and Grant script for the last 37 years as just 'haggishaggishaggishaggishaggis'.  For ages I thought Middenface was supposed to be an Arrapaho wind-talker.
