Oh my giddy aunt a David Lloyd Sontaran from Doctor Who weekly as well if I'm not mistaken. As I recall the one set in Egypt... he did some stunning work on those back up strips.

However, a little bit of DIY framing, and Mr Flint replaces Mr Smith in prime location:
