"Because of this they have been attempting to bribe the metropolitan police with dinners etc to make them arrest protesters etc"

Ah, so thats why Tom Cruise bought me a kebab, mystery solved.

I have been known to listen to Dr Who audio adventures on my ipod whilst down the Gym.

Sometimes I deliberately put Magic on the  radio at work. Actually I am sort of ashamed about that one.

I like the News of the World on a Sunday.

I still find doing a sneaky robot dance after putting Muse on a pub jukebox quite amusing. (Its got to be Super Massive Black Hole though, something about the opening chords).

Kim Wilde, Betty Boo, Martika, and a second vote for Belinda Carlisle. And am I the only person who fancied Cathy Dennis?

The anti-soldier thing is getting increasingly silly. I look forward to the episode in which he has a pop against some soldiers for fighting the Nazis, or maybe some explorers for carrying guns.I'ld like to see some one rip into him for being a hypocrite sometime, especially when you take into account his bodycount.

Peter, firstly Ron Paul (from who's site you quote) is a loon. Secondly Libertarians are selfish loathsome loons, thirdly theres a world of difference between disease screening and a sinister DNA database. Seriously no one is out to get you. And just out of interest if what you say is true how would you fight it? And who should pass laws other than our demoratically elected parliament?

Peter you really need to read more in regard to what libertarianism means. It certainly doesn't include concessions for the weak. And where did you get that dna story from? Its utter nonsense, firstly becase the yanks haven't gone big on the technology required, and secondly their civil liberties bodies would have thrown a massive fit to the extent we would all have heard. No offence but thats bollocks.

But why does Pete Hitchens hold these views? Because he believes the english middle class are somehow a chosen people and anything that infringes their rights is bad, everyone else however can pretty much do one. Libertarianism is only  popular with those who'ld do ok out of it, any one living in a shit hole can go hang under their philosophy. Oh and Christopher Hitchens "God is not Great" is a guilty pleasure of mine, its rantastic.

Amanda Plattell is even worse, knowledge of nothing but an opinion on everything. One week bemoaning teen anorexia the next calling Fergies teenage daughters fatties. I also find the annoying Austalian bints attitude to immigrants remarkabley unselfaware. I'ld suggest that the majority of collumnists are either sad old facists on the right or pathetic self haters on the left. When I finally get round to staging a coup I'm going to ship them all to the Isle of Wight for a Battle Royale re-enactment

"Rennie's a frikkin asshole.

He's made it plain he has no time for ANYBODY here and then he ditches a shedload of storylines that he in his utmost superior litrecism deems proper comic writing behaviour. S0 much so he forces us to see things his way and then drops us like a fetid turd in his hand when gold bloom shines in his frikkin eyes.

Come on Gordon come back at me in some disdainful condescending fashion."

Bloody hell, I know I certainly wouldn't take a more secure better paid job if i had a family to look after. Oh wait...
I never really understand the desire to rip into people on the internet, and how personally fans take seem to take these things. If the above was the kind of shite I was getting I'ld be glad to get the hell out of the industry.
Oh and has anyone actually confirmed he isn't/ hasn't already  finished off Cabs etc? If not any reaction is a little premature.

Checked and the title was  "Top 10: Beyond the Farthest Precinct (2005), a mini-series by Paul Di Filippo and Jerry Ordway, set five years after the events of Smax." or to paraphrase "Top 10:Crap on a stick"

Ladies and Gentlemen, please allow me to introduce the worst comic in the world, those who are weak of stomach may wish to look away now, before my tale of woe. Now the worst wouldn't be some crap you just picked up (I'm looking at you Leifield, it'ld have o be something you looked forward to.
A year or 2 ago I went travelling and my friendly comicbook guy agreed to keep up on my orders and anything he thought i'ld like (within reason). On that very expensive trip imagine my delight in finding a new mini-series of one of my favourite comics of all time, the mighty Top Ten. Then imagine my suprise in noticeing that none of the awesome talent from the previous run was involved. And then I read it. Never has a great comic been so horrendously trashed so quickly. Truly ABCs very own Ultimates 3.Oh and Albion sucked.
And anyone dissing Doomlord deserves disitegrtion at Vek's mighty hand.

General / Dan Dare

Anyone reading the new Dare comic? Enjoying it so far despite a couple of niggling problems, and liking the respect and understanding for the character, he was never a jingoistic figure as he's sometimes made out to be, and it almost makes up for my deep dislike for Morrisons Dare. Well almost...
