Icon, the Australian distributor are still promoting DREDD on their Facebook page as of three hours ago, so it's getting a theatrical release. How wide that will be is anyone's guess.

WHAT? They didn't have enough Case Files 1? The sky is falling!

Cool. Hopefully some make it to Case Files 3 or 4 where it's firing on all cylinders.
Or perhaps gaining familiarity with 2000ad's style will encourage them to sample some of Tharg's other collected delights. Or even subscribe.

I enjoyed watching this review once I got past the fact I couldn't bear to be in the same room as these people.

Alex Garland & Karl Urban - AUDIO

In two parts, this is pretty easy listening, and much less soundbitey than usual.

Worth watching for the best use of the c-word in a DREDD review... or probably any review.

Deadspin, Grierson & Leitch: Kill 'Em All
http://deadspin.com/5944593/kill-em-all-dredd-reviewed

Every few months we'll get a straight-up genre movie—Lockout, Safe, The Expendables 2—that wants to be celebrated for how unapologetically old-school, violent-for-violence's-sake it is. Too often, though, these movies feel the need to wink, to undercut themselves with self-deprecation, to let the audience know that the whole thing is really just for fun. Dredd, bless its dark heart, doesn't do that. It starts off in a horrible post-apocalyptic landscape, and it just gets bleaker and meaner from there.

Another happy customer.

Probably, but Albas did all the publicity shots too, except for the London reshoots.
It looks to me like it was taken in the same session as the rooftop poster & standing on flag.

It was most likely taken by Joe Alblas (or less likely Ilze Kitshoff).
You could always ask Alblas about it.

or through facebook

Kitshoff is harder to pin down.
