So here are the designs for the Scramble Dredd T-shirts. Look good to me, especially the Henry Flint one.
Looking at the photos I am guessing the quality is far superior to other 2000AD T-shirts, which IMO have been appalling quality and cut. (Always seem to come in two sizes: leotard or tent.)

I think the cost is fair for decent quality Ts.

I like the big badge one, the others not so much
Odd choice of images on those....
I'm clearly not the target demographic on these because, one: I don't like any of them, and two: £30 for a fucking t-shirt! :o

Well for me that's half right. I actually really like three of them, the Flint Dredd and the Cam one from the magic samurai story are both fantastic BUT £30 for a fuckin' tee-shirt. You what!
The website appears to be offering protein supplements as well. The tshirts also look to be in a "generous" cut, suitable for those who hang around in weights rooms. So they're marketing to 2000AD fans who are also into bodybuilding? I appreciate that printing a tshirt doesn't cost much, but that's about as niche as it gets.
I like the badge T-Shirt and the Dredd in rain one. But not for £29.99. No way. I'd think £20 was pushing it, but maybe I'm a bit cheap there. Heh.
I'm with you, way too expensive!
Dont forget £4.50 shipping on top of your £30
Maybe they're exceptional quality and (somehow) justify the price? The website gives no hint about that, though. Shame, as I really like the Cam Kennedy print.
The Cam and wet Dredd ones look like they were knocked up at a laser printing shop and the Flint one has that embarrassing, gratuitous Japanese writing on it that seems to be favoured these days by the Superdry loving masses.
Add the price factor and I am out.
Bit surprised that people who willingly spend hundreds of pounds on toys that don't even keep you warm think thirty pounds is too much for a T-shirt.
30 quid for a t-shirt is a bit steep, and the print jobs on these don't look great. I usually pay no more than a tenner for a t-shirt online from site like Design By Humans, which are usually great quality and have some awesome illustrations.
Considering the competition I think £30 is expensive. Considering I can print my own for a tenner if I really want to...
My friend told me that Scramble quality is very nice and worth the price. For now I ordered Henry Flint one because... Henry Flint (and now I think about navy one with shield) and I have no idea what Superdry is.
But I'm just a simple guy who mostly wear bands merch and old skate shirts/hoodies...
I like a couple of them... but .. £30 for a fucking t-shirt! They are having a giraffe

I'm failing to see your point. ;)

Who needs essentials like food and clothing, when there's shiny toys to be had!!!?
I expected the reactions to cost. I would pay £30 for a T-shirt and I have. And of course an iron on transfer T-shirt can be bought for a tenner. Crap quality comes cheap. And no one has been paid to design that (opens another can of worms).
I would rather spend £30 on a T-shirt than spend God knows how much on a toy. Or £50 buying the same book twice because it has a different cover. The latter to me is nuts.
I begrudge paying over a tenner for my jeans

How about spending £20 for new cover
and an additional 20 pages of never before re-printed content? :D Buying myself the new printing of Cursed Earth Uncensored for Christmas!

I did just that, myself. But I think I would be a mug if I bought the softcover version in addition to the hard cover version.
Most books (to my knowledge) are published with the same cover in hard and soft cover versions. But when it comes to comics, the softcover versions will get a new cover. Because publishers know their market and they know that some will buy twice because they've got...
the illness. :o
– which is worth spending money over.
BTW I can get plastic toys from a market stall for £4.99. £150?!!

Not 2000AD related ones you can't! ;)
Ive a couple of scramble items for training. Really superior quality and nice design - their Warriors rashie is a total win. If anything I was slightly disappointed by the conservative nature of these pieces, normally they go all out with sleeve and back prints. Hopefully they'll push the boat out more in wave 2... Maybe even some Justice Dept. grapple pants? As it is I'm in for the Flint shirt,
Size wise their usual cut is 'slim fit' as they cater for the sports market so bear that in mind if you are of a certain build round the waist.
I know they seem expensive but I can asure you it's a different quality of product than some of the regular tshirts places (which vary in quality from the good to the not so good). If you want a really good quality 'badge' tee then scramble is worth the money.
Really nice to see another small company show their love for 2000ad.

I thought that I don't have a need for a rashguard but a friend who trains in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu recommends them for wearing under a gi to keep cool in the summer so I will be tempted to give those a go.

Exactly what I thought. A real shame about some of the predictable overreactions on this thread.
The two designs on the right look as though they're just iron on transfers, no thought gone into them.
The badge design has a glaring error (too me anyway) which should've been picked up by quality control.
As for the Henry head, I like it BUT THIRTY QUID, THIRTY QUID and that's without postage :-X
I'm all for new companies having a go, remember Dark World Creations. Great figures but overpriced and I think they don't exist anymore.
Postman just arrived with Dreddhead shirt. It's good stuff in my book.
