For a full review of this weeks episode. Let’s go to the Simpsons:

Lisa: Perhaps there is no moral to this story.
Homer: Exactly! It's just a bunch of stuff that happened.

Ah man, it'll feel like sacrilege sticking those cans in the recycling...

PJ - the label is designed to be removed and stuck in a book. It sort of peels of and you keep it with all the others.
It's pretty slick. So no Jock in the bin.

oh that's awesome then!

I dunno, everyone else has to work their way through awful dialogue, it strikes me those lines were written with the hope a Bishop would make them funny based on his normal dry delivery, but Bishop's delivery is pretty flat.

Is it just me or is John Bishop appalling - not his character but his acting. It's sort of flat and utterly unconvincing, maybe he's capable of a good performance but they haven't got it from him yet, but just ugh...

But note how Image recently said it wouldn’t be taking comics to second prints now.

Paper shortage. It's really grim in periodical publishing right now.

(forgive me if you're implying this and all I'm doing is restating the same thing with a slightly differen emphasis)

I'm guessing this is much more to do with the rise in paper costs due to shortages than it being a simple matter of there being not as much paper; it's probably lot less economically viable to do the small numbers of a second print run than it used to be.

Always sad to come back to an old thread and see the first unread message is from Bolt-01, and in typically Dave fashion offering to help someone.

Anyway, as you were.

Give it all away, my friend. But dramatically. Like you're telling someone a super exciting story,

If they like that pitch with the twist, they'll want to see the script.

It's tough to care about this, because it's games. But my gut reaction was "are you saying they should KEEP the upskirt shots?" because, you know, that's also mentioned in the article.

I can't judge the change of dialogue because, who knows, it's not finished. Is making something slightly less Benny Hill a bad thing? Maybe. Maybe not. We'll see, eh?

I do agree there's a general direction in society where we're headed towards something a lot more puritan which is not great, but I'm not going to be sad at the loss of stuff that's pretty demeaning on the way towards that.

They have to use the kangaroos with the really big pouches.

Lot of ignorance on display here about Australia. It's actually the cork surcharge, for their hats.

Yes, I’m knackered from running from house to house of everyone who bought one. I should read my contracts more carefully.

I've an audible account, stopped paying for it (I basically froze the payments, but stayed a member) and all of these things are also available to me.

(I never listen to them though, but I should!)

I wish the original artists (or their estate) got some sort of kickback when original art sold. I mean I'm sure this was sold for probably less  than 200-300 quid at the time it was sold (in fact it may not even have made treble figures, given what the original art market used to be like)

I think this happens in france ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droit_de_suite - though I;m not sure how it works out in practice)

Anyway, lovely art, hopefully in a good home.

I'll be picking this up next year for a 5 year old Beano fanatic.
And maybe a flick through myself too!

Any word on the creative teams?
Can we assume the ever excellent Lew Stringer will be involved?

He's definitely in the halloween spooktacular (as am I, I think)

Yes and yes.

HURRAH!
