I think they mention 13 hours a season in the podcast.

Same as most Netflix / Amazon series.

Tordel makes a good point (as ever).  The city can be utterly different in different places.  Like any large city there can be the utter hopelessness of Peach Trees and bright futuristic hubs.  Like SIP I'm down with the grit in many ways, but others want the weird Megalopolis, I hope the series finds a balance.  Z
Ed is dead, baby Ed is...Ed is dead

When people talk about a sequel that follows the style of the 2012 film, bear in mind a mutated Satanus and the Angel Gang was on the cards if you believe Alex...

They mention this concept in the podcast too

I'm 20 minutes into the Megacast and I'm very happy with what I'm hearing. I've grinned like a Cheshire Cat several times. As I'm typing, they've just spoken about having a massive budget in terms of Telly.

They also talk about getting the right professionals in. I'd like to put Steve Green and Alex Ronald forward!

LOL, I'm an OK generalist and getting something for nothing, but I can't imagine myself working on a big production.

Hoping you get to visit the set, at the very least.
Your cinematography and effects on Minty are certainly better than 'OK'!  :o

Pete Wells

Yep and the Strontium Dog work takes it to another level. Don't sell yourself short Mr Green!

Steve Green

You're very kind, there are far more talented specialists out there, and always wanting to up my game - more a matter of available time that restricts what I want to do.

It is very thrilling.

The guys on the Megacast said they are listening to the fans so the campaign begins here:

For the love of Grud, ditch the dweeb!

"I still know a lot about Dredd and that the character is still pretty much the same as when he started"
Isn't this the person who's only read a few stories since the 70's?

That's inaccurate to the original poster and unfair: you don't need to have read many Batman or Spider-man comics in the last 30 years to have a good idea of what those characters are about.

If you come across as a self-professed authority, I'd say you do.
Still, moving on.

Heavy Metal Kid 'Call-me-Burdis' goes on the rampage and stomps towards Pete Wells Block.

To be played Godzilla style by CF in a robot suit smashing the crap out of miniature buildings.
