I sooo want "Rico J" to be Judge Rico 😁 when it's confirmed.

Surely it'll be this guy - "I'm from Buenos Aires, and I say kill 'em all!"

Can't disagree with that, but him having a rep is the key point - he's supposed to be this scary, kickass bounty hunter, all menace and mystery and cool gadgets. Less was definitely more with him and I think The Mandalorian captured this quite well by having the character be quite taciturn and capable.

It might be a weight of expectation thing, because this Fett I guess is not the character I thought he would be. I know it's not exactly a cutting analysis, but he's... well, he's a bit crap.

I'll vote for anything that isn't Red Razors.

I'm struggling to enjoy it. That last episode was the worst -
the design of the street gang and their Power Ranger bikes seemed to be out of another sci-fi series altogether
- but overall I feel like a lot of what made Boba Fett cool in the first place has gone (it's in The Mandalorian instead) and rather than being the sort of mysterious badass Vader had to warn to not disintergrate anyone he's been reworked into this noble character who is also a bit of a chump, and whilst that's all well and good it's not the character I was hoping for.

I burned through Empire and what a nihilistic read it is!
I don't really like superhero stuff nowdays so was pleased that was kept to a minmum here. An absolute downer full of horrific characters but a really engaging read.
I really liked the format and if Shift are able to put out more of these specials in this 'GN lite' sort of format I'd be all for it.

Shimura for me too.

I know Covid is hitting a lot of services hard and our post here is really messed up, but it is filtering through Porgs aside.

Anyway, first non-parcel post since mid December here and as well as a bunch of Christmas cards, 2264 just arrived. No sign of 2262 or 2263 but I think I can put that down to a Christmas blip.

Thanks for the responses dudes. Sounds like it's probably Covid messing with post rather than anything sinister - weird that I'm getting some post and not others, but I suspect bulkier items are being prioritised.

All those who like me are still missing issues, hope they get resolved soon..!

Empire special arrived today: I have a signed Kitson print too.
I've only had a quick skim but looks like a nice package. I really hope this has sold well and we get more collections like this.

I'm guessing it's not the case from the healthy looking review threads, but worth me checking: anyone else having issues with postal Progs this year? I know Covid is hitting a lot of services hard and our post here is really messed up, but it is filtering through Porgs aside.

My copy of 2262 never arrived (although the Subs team kindly sent me a replacement which did) and neither has my copy of 2263. 2264 hasn't rocked up either yet - that was only due this weekend but I'm getting a sinking feeling about it.
This is following the disappearance of 2250 too... normally the subscription delivery runs like clockwork but two in a row and three in thirteen has me wondering if there's a problem somewhere.

Me: After nearly two years of no gigs, I have tickets for a weekend festival in May with loads of cool bands!
Also me: Lawless is on this year and I'm totally going!
My wife: Not to both on the same weekend you're not.

DROKKING HELL.

That reminds me of 'Wizards, Warriors & You' books - I had a couple of these, I know one of them had a Josh Kirby cover. A step up from the old choose your own adventure books with some rudimentary coin flip mechanics I think. Probably not worth revisiting.

Quoting myself but... here's a link I found for the WW&Y books, some great old school covers on these.
I especially like the last few. The Warrior Women of Weymouth kick ass, as do the white fire breathing tigers from the Carnival of Demons although the Conquest of Barbarians appears to be a conquest over some foxes.

In fairness I played Forest of Doom a lot in my youth and I remembered a bunch of it (like nose filters), plus it's very forgiving. When we rock up against something like House of Hell it's going to be multiple deaths in this house.
I'll see if I can tackle Starship Traveller this week, unless anyone is still doing Forest?

Grail Quest (Aimed at a younger age group than FF, but quite humorous and fun)

I still have a couple of these. Really loved them when I was younger - I found them very immersive. I've been hesitant about rereading them just in case the magic has gone.
