Forbidden Planet were always ok with me.

A place in Space sometimes ballsed up my order.

Comic Biz were, in my experience, absolutely terrible.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)

A close relative of SISU, in many ways - especially in the Tarantino-aping and general cartoony killings (of which there an astounding amount).

An odd one - I thoroughly enjoyed it but afterwards found out the many things that were left out or changed for no real reason, I can tell.

I should read the book.

But, anyway, still recommended but with a lot of caveats (Maybe it's best to see it as some sort of alternate reality version of what actually happened?)

Thanks for the reminder, guys - just ordered the Anderson volume.

Am I right in thinking this will have Alan Grant's last ever Anderson work in it?

I'm unfeasibly excited that we're getting both iterations of 80s Joe.

John Cooper did a LOT of the AF stuff (this was why he moved from Johnny Red, alas) and it's going to great seeing it again in a nice format,

Help! / Re: Rebellion and Rights to Eagle Strips

I asked Pat Mills years ago (because that's how I roll) about reprints of his New Eagle Dan Dare stuff.  Wish I could remember his exact wording but it was basically "it's not happening". I still live in hope, though.

Put me down as someone else who'd love to see The Computer Warrior get a reprint, though.  It was batshit and I loved it.

Right on, chaps.

Let's all be nice to each other.

(Not that people on here aren't, already)

Leslie Phillips would've been a great Nemesis:
