UPDATE: Mark Waid and Chris Samnee are working on a Rocketeer four part series, and IDW will be the latest US publisher to work with Rebellion on bringing 2000AD to the US, with new material and reprints.

IDW have a few Film related Comic strips [Transformers GI JOE COBRA] so I'm guessing that this is based on the DNA Film?

Or is it 2000AD's JUDGE DREDD re imagined for a more mainstream American audience?  Good news either way.
