Soz Goaty, Dredd's helmet is
too big/ too small/ just right
and the film itself looks
arsom/ canny good/ rubbish
. That's my final word on the subject I'm busy playing Chuckie Egg 2.

It's no joke, think what Filmore Faro would pay for a Commodore 64. He'd cap all our asses for a rusty tin of beans...  :)

I made my own Blue Snaggletooth and Vinyl Jawa during my figure modding days, back when I could still get loose figures at the Car Boot Sale for 50p each

My finest hour was making a working missile-firing Boba Fett, and "Remember your failure at the cave" Darth Vader with removable head and Luke's face.

Many figures died to bring you this information  :D
The bit that gets me every time is when they're in String's apartment and they find his pristine old edition of The Wealth Of Nations. They just didn't have a clue who he really was.
Season 3 is a masterpiece of storytelling alright, in my opinion though Season 4 is even better.

I wish I could go back in time and watch it for the first time again.

The original is pretty much my favourite TV show ever, I'm up to episode 658 at the minute  :)
I didn't want to get my hopes up, this is the third remake it's had, but I'm starting to get really excited now. I love that they've kept the 70s setting, and I can tell who all the characters are meant to be in that picture so I'm hopeful, we shall see...

If you want a flavour of the original they're re-releasing the two spin-off films House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows soon. They're like the spin-off films of sitcoms we used to get over here in the 70s, Night is pretty rubbish but House is great, a condensed version of the Barnabas Collins storyline and his tragic history. It's better than Mutiny On The Buses  :)

QuoteGood to know as I had also been wondering bout this.

I've posted this before, but for those that missed it, Mr Wagner has stated that he is working on a new Dredd series, the first arc of which is starting soon and will be drawn by Ben Willsher. He said that the structure of the new story will be similar to Tour of Duty, but that the subject matter would be very different.

That's seriously good news. Though I've gotta say this period of stories we've had from Al and Mike has been scrotnig. Old Stoney Face is in some capable hands right now.

There was a TV adaptation of Caves of Steel by the BBC with Peter Cushing (I think), I don't think it still exists but I would love to see that.

Lack of The Forever War and Way Station on that list, does that mean they aren't even rejects? :)
