Happy cleaning!

We so appreciate y'all. This thread may not be as active as it once was, but you regulars are so great. I'm gonna go quiet for a bit to make sure I'm not scaring folks away, but I'll continue to post new episode notes & calls for questions.

Lovely stuff all round. I particularly like Nightbook's Armitage - I'd go so far as to say he's nailed the look better than Armitage's actual current illustrator (who I still like a lot).

These reviews are great fun - keep them coming, folks!  I realise I never stop banging on about Jim Moon and his podcast Hypnogoria, but his audio walkthrough of City of Thieves is a treat to listen to.

I'd love to be surprised, but I wouldn't hold up too much hope that it's much more than just the Eagle reprints scanned and made into a trade.

That's so bad it's funny. The top two panels look like a bad AI attempt to recreate the original.

Quote from: Swerty on Today at 03:01:03 PMI think in this weeks Thrill-Mail they actually said they were from the Eagle reprints
Blimey! Well, let's hope they don't follow the reprints too closely...!

Evidence of crimes against comics (or CAC) right there.

Quote from: The Monarch on Today at 02:28:21 PMi could have sworn we already knew this was the last series months ago i recall some of us talking about how to get the series completed in the ultimate collection because of that news

Quite true, I even think that Mike Carroll mentioned on his twitter feed this but I think the problem is a lot of us is in denial since whom wants such an excellent story to end

Yeah that's defo true. If I knew this I completely blanket it out!

Quote from: IndigoPrime on 29 March, 2024, 07:03:51 PMBloke on bike was tactically inept. A showboater. They get you killed.

It just occurred to me that this might be a Dirty Harry reference. In The Enforcer, Callahan drives his car into a store in order to defeat the armed gang within.

Is this a modern writer distancing the character of Dredd from that of Dirty Harry?

Am I stretching?
