Gutted by the passing of Carlos Ezquerra.

The backbone of 2000ad and the artist on so much magic down the years.

I thank him for the childhood thrills and for being the childhood hero it was a pleasure to meet and interact with.

He leaves a huge gulf here in 2000ad fandom and nothing will fill it.

Respect, Dunk!

Stickleback! Whoa! Wait, wha?

But a pedant writes:
If it was a mask all along why was he wearing it during his regeneration by Doyle and why did it grow younger in years also.
Did I miss something?

That said I love it.

Always though they were celebrating fromage snacking by exclaiming "Roulade!" during Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.

A recent trip to see the (wonderfully crap) stage show and I now know it's "Ulla!"

Mine's better.

He is hard on himself - v-hard for someone I, as an observer, would see as having an illustrious career - but the insights he gives into what he likes or dislikes in an image are so informative.

He's till pushing himself and his art when others could be, consciously or unconsciously, coasting on past glories whilst producing the same standard work time and again.

Might be a case of hearing so much negativity about the trailer before hand meant my expectations were somewhat lowered, but that was enjoyable.

All your favourite bits fromm the first (and only) two Terminator films squeezed together + state of the art CGI?

I'm sold.

Well, until the reviews on release tell me it's rubbish, but until then...

Hah, love the advent calendar for it's inventiveness.

Up with this sort of thing!

Know your budget limitations and design something that celebrates the character you want around them.

Enjoyable.

I'm in the Alpha of the game I work on and it's like being new to it all.

Is it tougher and tough?

Cheers

Jim

It's getting me whet.

'Cos after months and months of work getting in the way of any play testing, I'm in the Alpha of the game I work on and it's like being new to it all.

Gawd, that feels so good.

Loads and loads of art tweaks needed but that's just my work head invading my joy at just playing finally.

Don't usually comment on these review threads but have to say the combo of Kingdom and Stickleback with a solid slice of Dredd - reminding me of Graveyard Shift - has made the prog most readable recently.

Won't be letting my digital copies stack up for the mo.

there's a pre-con piss-up featuring live (good) music and general comic art shenanigans.
