I and others have had confirmation from the 2000 AD feed on Facebook that the additional books will only commence when the original run is complete. (I'm not going to stop my subscription, note, but it's good to know that you can, but mostly that we won't be waiting even longer for the likes of the final Tour of Duty book or something.)

There isn't any official news yet on the 2000ad collection, right?

Behind the Iron Curtain is certainly a hefty volume, but quantity doesn't always mean quality, and unfortunately it's the case here. I didn't enjoy Red Razors at all, other than appreciating the artwork. Samizdat Squad fares a little better, with some interesting ideas of what might be found in the Soviet rad-wastes. However the interview with Arthur Wyatt and story notes indicate larger plans for the series than were realised, leaving me wondering what might have been. Not a volume I'll be rushing back to read again.

Says on the wiki that Judge Child will be released in August. Can't see it on Hachette's webpage. Anyone who knows where that came from?

Richard

No, but sometimes that announce stuff on Facebook.

They did it for Oz, so they should for Judge Child.

Way back in 2015 I asked on the FB page when we would be seeing Judge Child and City Of The Damned. August 2017 seemed a long way off then.

I have to admit to not having the hate for Red Razors that some have, but at the same time I can't say that I'm particularly fond of it.  Samizdat Squad was substantially better in my opinion.
When the truth offends, we lie and lie until we can no longer remember it is even there, but it is still there. Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is paid. That is how an RBMK reactor core explodes. Lies. - Valery Legasov

Is there a thread for the 2000AD collection? I can't see one.
