Rebellion need to pick up some new writers. There's loads of them out there that would love to do 2000AD work, but they are made to go through the Thought Bubble crap.

Unless your name is Ales Kot. But yeah they need to open up those submission policies the prog and the meg are on a downturn.

For those who enjoyed Laura Bailey's take on DeMarco in the Summer Special last year, Tharg's given permission to share a sneak peek of the series we've created for the Judge Dredd Megazine which should be starting in July.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time that Thought Bubble competition winners (we both won in 2017) have been paired up for a series so it'll be interesting to see how this is received!

Looking forward to it! Both of you did great work in the special!

This may not be the place to ask but I have read the two collections of Scarlet Traces. Am I caught up or do I need to buy some digital progs before next week?

I know Survival Geeks isn't everyone 's cup of tea, but I like it. Happy to have 30 consecutive episodes of this.

Wait what??? Where was this said?

Lots of good stuff! Tammy and Jinty Special! Thistlebone finally hits the prog! Sci-Fi special pays tribute to Carlos Ezquerra! Lawless and Torture Garden finales in the Meg! All this and some interesting collections. June looks like a pretty good month!

Lawless: hard to know if this is a conclusion or a feint. If it's the former, it's a good way to go out; but with this, Blink and Kingdom winding up, it feels like 2000 AD comics are going to be a bit lacking in Abnett goodness, unless he's planning more strips to fill the void. (And, yeah, I know there's still Grey Area and Sin/Dex, but still.)

Grey Area feels like it's moving toward its conclusion as well. I'm kind of worried.

Haven't read the prog yet (Digital reader here!) but how spoiled are we that a good solid installment seems like a letdown after the last few stellar months. Good time to be a fan!

again a very good Meg this month with Lawless taking numero uno position.  Lawless is one of those strips that needs to be mandatory for any comic lover.

It truly does. As good as it has always been this arc is just liquid fire. From the gorgeous artwork to Abnett works those stroy beats hard, this is a master class in storytelling and character development. And is it just me
or did we just just come full circle back around to Insurrection?
Powerful stuff that makes the month long wait for a new meg true torture.

Wagner returns to Dredd in Megazine 400*

Prog 2100 sees Rob Williams & Henry Flint catch up on Judge Smiley in The Small House

Colin MacNeil replaces Paul Marshall as artist on Skip Tracer: Legion**

Ian Edginton's doing the Fiends Of The Eastern Front prequel. Explains the 19th-century setting.

* The Trouble With Harry, described as 'royal shenanigans'

** As he did on The Corps

That all sounds really good. Is Wagner back for just the one issue? While I wasn't crazy about Skip Tracer, Colin MacNeil only makes anything better.
