I'm glad its getting an extension, there's still a lot of quality to print .. I am however going to run out of bookcase .. dammit

I'm still holding out for the 12 inch (fnar) so hopefully the line will last long enough to be realised. Fire looks amazing.

Book 4 is up for pre-order

Anyone know how many books would constitute the complete run.

Zavvi have a shocking record of actually coming up with the goods with figures. I'd wait for StarActionFigures or Comics and Cocktails to offer a preorder.

Other Reviews / Re: Firekind

Some stories around that period were so damn hard to follow I think I just accepted it. Back then I thought maybe I wasn't clever enough to follow some of 2000ads output. Now I know some of it was just not well told. Firekind is excellent though, re-read it when the collection version came out and its held up very well

I was done a while back cutting him slack for his past achievements. Don't get me wrong—they are massive. Without Mills, etc. But. That is no justification for consistently and constantly slagging off other creators and frequently positioning Rebellion as some kind of modern-day evil.
Very much this. His services to thrill power can't be understated and Nemesis is still one of my favourite comics, but his bitter attitude and the fact his output for the last decade or so quite frankly has been largely unreadable (bar a couple of stand outs) kinda damages his legacy

I know Final Solution is diversive for a number of reasons but I loved it at the time. Gets my vote

Bury My Knee.
If that's not in there it's a misnamed book

Wow I thought I left it late to jump off the marvel collection and its almost doubled in size since.

Just looking at 2000ad output there's no comparison.
Garth 1 - 4 Rob but only as it feels mean to give a zero

On no, that's terrible news. Dave stayed over once for a Cardiff con. What a lovely chap he was. Thoughts are with the family. Thanks for letting us know Mike

I've continued having all my books sent to the office, even though I've been working at home for 12 months. Didn't trust them to change it properly!
I'm the same, I'm happy to have them up to 5 months late if it means not dealing with Hachette's fu¢к up line.
