Hi all,

Does anyone have any foreign language 2000AD related books or comics that they may want to sell?

I seem to have ended up with a few different ones already ranging from Chinese, Greek (ta Simon), Serbo Croat as well as the usual Dutch, German, French and Italian ones so everything considered!!!

I could possibly swap for other 2000AD related bits and bobs.

Cheers muchly

There are various "spanish versions" available in Brazil, and I've seen a Finish version of Slaine: The Horned God.

I also think I saw Horned God in a station shop in Hovedbanegård in København, which I wish I'd bought, as I've not seen it since.

Various DC, Marvel, and (other money-spinners) are available to pick-up in the newsagents in Danish (which is more than you can say for 2000ad in English newsagents).

Couldn't part with it as it was a present but I've got a Swedish copy of the Dredd Eagle Comics reprints No.1.

Don't know if it's any help, as I didn't buy it, but I was in a comic shop in Krakow recently and I seem to remember seeing a Polish Slaine volume. Although I had been drinking a lot of vodka that week.

The Brazilian versions will be in Portugese, natch.

Saving the best for last...

There were a whole bunch of Flemmish Slaine's in the Comics Museum in Brussells (about 9 books altogether?), as well as the three b&w volumes of Halo Jones.

I have a French graphic novel that reprints Judge Death Returns, Father Earth, Death of a Judge whilst the second half of the book reprints the DC comics 'Saga of the Power Lords'. It's published by Artima Color Super Star and is numbered as Album 1. I picked it up in Spain a good 20 years ago when I was just a wee nipper. The Dredd stuff looks like it has been reprinted from the same source as the Eagle comics American coloured reprints. I also have some comic magazines that reprint some 2000AD material. I can't remember all what's inside other than some Gibbons Dan Dare and  some cool King Cobra strips (from Hotspur??) by the great Ron Smith. They are currently boxed-up, and I can't even remember if they are in French or Spanish but I think the comics were called DS - but I'd have to check to confirm that. Again I picked these up in Spain at the same time as I got the Dredd book as well as a vinyl single of the Uylssess 31 theme tune all sung in french.

Yoooooooleseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees :-)

I haven't seen any around for a number of years, the above images were all stuff I found on the net. I can easily get Marvel/DC stuff though.

I`m not here for long, but if I get the chance, it`d be fun to have a hunt around for any Nihongo 2000AD stuff, if any such exists

There was a realy brief Judge Dredd manga launched at the time of the film but it sunk without a trace.
