Website and Forum / Re: List of issues

I can no longer login using FireFox. I am forced to use MS Edge. I get a variety of blank screens and error screen session time outs when trying to authenticate with FireFox. Edge goes in no worries. So this is the only site I use Edge for. You now have a special place :-) (although one I would not personally be proud of ;-) )

I loved the comics when they originally came out, blewe away then in my 20s. Up to episode 3 of the show and enjoyed how it is very close to the comics but still fits tv viewing. Man is that not 2 of the Doctors assistants (Constantine and her ex girlfriend)  love it.

It can't have been. They didn't have Photoshop back then.

Photoshop was originally based on real world techniques. The first time I used photoshop in 1993 it really was just a digital version of the darkroom. I used dodge and burn a load, no layers and that but paths. The masking and editing that it has become famous for was in that too and it was damn cool. But it only copied what could be achieved with editing photos together and negative re-touching. Whether it was as good/seamless as it is today with photoshop I don't know but I dabbled in the 80's with prints and negatives in my teens adding a deceased member to a family portrait and it was pretty decent for someone with little experience. So maybe not photoshop but the potential to manipulate, quite convincingly I'll say, pictures can be manipulated.

I am interested fan of the album. But I don't think I have ever read a good comic about a band or involving a band.  So I am a little weary to fork out on it.. not sure of the shipping to EU also.

So what do you reckon?  Will it be any good?

If you are ever in Gent (Ghent if your english) in Belgium swing by Worlds End Comics.
Loads of stuff mainly US but also some European and Manga.
Not much on the Rebellion or 2thou front though it really is not that known over here.

Also you can drink beer in the shop and table top game if you so wish. Is in a cellar by the canal so very atmospheric too.

The virussss cannot kill what doesss not live!

Not exactly how I thought it would look, but not bad for a five minute scan-and-order

That looks fantastic. Have you got a link to the service that you mention?

YEah I checked it on spotify a couple of months ago. Certainly interesting and some real high points did not capture me enough to put it in my collection. But might give it another go as it is praised highly here.

This was on my pull list from after the first trade. I prefer the older stuff it got a bit crazy for me later on. There was a mini 3 issue series which focused on their origins War Toys which was great. And a follow up called Yvette. It is an interesting concept, great ideas and has some lovely art and the story was strong at the start but it waned for me. I dropped it when it went to only digital. An entertaining read for certain.

I have also been thinking about this. I was looking at Heavy Metal and they use Comixology which appears to be part of Amazon. I have not ventured yet but can I use another reader with stuff bought on Comixology?
Is their reader any good they have a follow mechanism or something I noticed when looking briefly. Any experience good/bad?

As for vinyl I have the 150 or so that I bought as a youth through the 80s and 90s. They are lovely things but overpriced these days. I like the CDs now just for convenience of space but it is nice to have the physicality of them to browse through.
