Well, that was a great day!

It was indeed. Brum ICE is a brilliant con, and long may it continue. So, a big thank you goes out to all the guys and gals involved in this

Great to meet up once again with my BFF (brummy friend forever) Mark aka Hippynumber1. Also grand to meet up with the good doctor, Eamon,  and Steve Green. Plus a few other House of Tharg followers that are not members on here (?) Got a good few sketches, a smattering of original art, and the day was rounded of with some beers and a curry.
Marvellous!

Just on the train down to Brum now. Making a long weekend of it. Been out of the 2000ad loop for awhile, so looking forward to this. Have a great time all those attending. :-)

Whilst googling OPug Ugly for the 2000AD art competition, I happened upin this recently ended gumtree thing!  Hope Rob Cox got the Meltdown Man oages...

I think Robert did bag them. He certainly did show off some pages recently. Never look on Gumtree, though I'm kinda out of the art collecting game now.

But saying that; That Ron Smith Pug Ugly page is just wonderful. Classic tale. Does anyone know what they went for?

Was aiming to be in London today, a prebooked long weekend trip, but alas the Beast has put paid to that.

Luckily I have gotten, or will be getting, a full refund for train and hotel. So, that's indeed something.

But looking at the news, plenty of folks are having a real nightmare, with no immediate let up in sight.

The 41st 2000ad anniversary bash is not a patch on the 40th.

If John Wagner's wife doesn't write the Dredd tale, then it doesn't count...

I do love a bit of Karl Richardson's art, so super happy to receive this A3 commission today.

Perfectly drawn art.

Peak Bolland, for my money... sadly, my money doesn't stretch to TWELVE GRAND.

I will never own a Bolland,  :'(

That page is something else, the best Dredd art ever, imho.
Though I think I'd prefer the JCQ page the seller has listed.
A fondly remembered page, for me. The first time I really took notice of Brian's work (and Ron Smith's, for that matter.)
