Dread: Dredd - no sooner has the tabletop role-playing game licence with EN Publishing expired than a new RPG is announced, properly announced this weekend at the 2000AD online convention.

Yeah... a TTRPG based on Jenga... OK, it's innovative, but I'm not sure it's the right move.  It just doesn't grab me like one based on the house system being used in Tartarus Gate might.  Have to say I'm a little disappointed.

It seems an odd choice for a Dredd RPG but don't underestimate the system itself. I've run a few horror scenarios with it over the years, and it works realy well.

Got to say that I wasn't convinced either, but I'm watching the live playthrough at the moment and it seems like a lot of fun.
