Thought I'd treat myself for the holidays to getting my nails done.  Nothing says Xmas like a little red and gold. And black. And skulls.  Haven't decided which ones to get.

Heh, actually a lot of ladies get their nails done so they won't chew em.  No one wants to eat varnish

I ended up doing the reg Dredd helms cuz I was worried the nail tech wouldn't be able to do the others in detail.  Unfortunately they didn't have matte black or gold polish, boo!  And she drew the eagles upside down but I didn't have the heart to correct her

The judge helmet one is great! Would a Slaine symbol work (I can't remember what it's called, the sunrise, three rays of light thing)?

It's the Red Branch Knights symbol, the three rays of light each stand fro the three principles that they follow and believe in.....

But that is just off the top of my head!

It could be something more to do with the Tribes of the Earth Goddess in general or I might have been right the first time.

I need to flick thru Slaine the King, before I know what those three rays mean.

The word Ogham slipped my mind at the time.

Are they not supposed to represent a letter of the alphabet and a type of local tree as well.

So, I don't see how that would work with that symbol as they are just individualised by a series of strokes or notches drawn diagonally against another line.

Still haven't looked up the meaning of the three rays yet myself.....
