Well after weeks of convoluted nonsense it will be a blessed relief to learn that for the final two spots in the finals we just have two straight knockouts today... yep simple as that. Don't worry about how they got here, just know that whoever wins both of today's ties has a place in the finals (the tourney proper). Simple as that, so I mean it when I say....

Match ends early on the morning of Saturday 11th September and the winner (I'll count up who gets the most votes basically) gets one of the final two spots in the tourney proper

Easy one for me, as I just didn't like the character design on Bubba, and felt the tale was too drawn out. Outlaw was slightly derivative (Portrait 2.0), but then had the advantage of adhering to an established continuity.

Outlaw. It's my favourite of all SD stories, epic on so many levels!

I'm not sure I enjoy either of these stories too much (while acknowledging their craft); both a bit too long and drawn-out. I think I'll go for Outlaw, on balance - it's mired deep in strontinuity, we get to meet lots of interesting stronts, and it's the last chance in the original series that the Gronk gets to shine.
