fark I wish I had sound on this thing, this movie could either be thge greatest thing ever done by Bay(c'mon you got to admit he does good car chases) or...actually I dont care as long as its got big stompy transforming robot action it it I'm there. They can go camp, dark, anything as long as I get to see it. Is that Megatron we see silohetted there?
I cant wait for this.

I suspect that IF you forget everything that was good about the G1 Transformers (including Furman's comics), put up with annoying humans getting most of the screen time, and ideas clearly aimed at very young, dumb children (the mute Bumblebee apparently communicates via songs on his radio), it might be passable. However, it's Bay, and although some of the script has come in for praise (including, allegedly, a section where a midget Soundwave?who's now four-feet high, infiltrates Air Force One), I have a feeling that this is going to suck, big-time. I hope not, because there's lots of scope for something decent with this concept, but I'm not holding out much hope. And if that rumour about transforming XBox 360s and iPods comes to pass, I doubt I'll even rent the thing on DVD.

Must admit too not being a huge Transformers fan but that trailer has really whetted my appetite to see more.
Thought the Beagle II reference was great.

Never had a transformeer as a kid...got to play with one (thanks to my kid) in a hospital waiting room last week...proper complicated it was too...bloody great for kids!

A bit off topic here, but I couldn't find the original thread and thought I'd piggybag Bolt's posting and stick up a couple of the cracking cartoons that we know know and love. As for the transformers that's a right shite teaser - I bet there isn't 1% of actual movie footage in that. I know it's a teaser but it tells you nothing at all about the film - is it live action? cartoon? CGI?
