No one else curious to see how CONSTANTINE #1 is?
BATMAN HC VOL 02 THE CITY OF OWLS A title so good that I buy it monthly and in trades.
SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #6 Chuffed that Humberto Ramos returns to Spider-Man, writer Slott & Ramos are the ultimate team spidey.
ALL CRIME #1 No idea what this is about but it has a cool Bruce Timm cover so count me in.

Have to say that completely leaves me cold. Not for some regret and anger that Hellblazer went (Its a shame but if I'm honest I hadn't read it for years except to try out and pass on Pete Milligan's run) rather I wasn't impressed with Justice League Dark and the previews, that have been all over DC comics of late, have left me with no sense that his solo title will be anymore interesting.

I couldn't really argue with that, #1 is purely curiousity purchase, I do feel a bit a bad doing so as feel like I'm actively supporting the cancelation of Hellblazer.

NEW COMICS SHIPPING THE WEEK OF 03-27-13

My Digital Pulls
2000 AD #1825 - The jumping on point last week was rock solid, and this week we get the return of ZOMBO! Zombie super soldiers have never been so polite.
EAST OF WEST #1 - I... really have no idea what to expect from this new Hickman series. Really hoping its more Manhattan Projects then Nightly News.
JUDGE DREDD MEGAZINE #334 - The return of Dan Abnett and Colin MacNeil's Invasion. Which is a big deal, cause that is some damn fine space war action.
JUDGE DREDD: DAY OF CHAOS FOURTH FACTION GN - First collection of last year's big Judge Dredd story arc. Day of Chaos wasn't my favorite Dredd epic, but it was good. One of the best one-offs in a while gets reprinted here, Caterpillars by Michael Carroll.
PLANETOID #5 - Man, my interest in this series has really tanked. Long delays, combined with a really average story. Really the art is the only thing holding it up, and even that isn't quite as cool as it was in the first issue.
THINK TANK #6 - Great great series. Smart in many different ways.
WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP #61 - Working my way through this issue right now, good all around so far. Toriko seems to be getting strung out a bit through, but damn is it not stocked with weird looking guys murdering each other.

Constantine is Harry Dresden fanfiction so far, and I don't see any sensible writers wasting their a-material on it when it's clearly an editorial-mandate publication rather than the anything-goes horror playpen the Vertigo title was.
My current theory is that in using the movie title and upping the visual supernatural elements while transplanting the character to the DC imprint from Vertigo, DC have created a comic with the express intention of developing it later as a CW programme in the vein of Arrow, Supernatural or Beauty and the Beast - Constantine really is indistinguishable from such programmes already, right down to the mysterious male-model lead, NYC setting, and casual gore.  Smallville and Arrow presented DC with an easy way to get the CW to pay them licencing money to up their profit margin, and (if Brian Wood is to be believed) they've been actively blocking the development of tv shows and movies based on Vertigo properties for some time now, so I'm laying money here and now that we're getting a Constantine tv show in the next few years - possibly with the lead recast as an American.

Anyone pick up the 2nd volume of 'Uncanny X-Force' by the way?
I've basically quit Marvel, but would be interested to hear feedback from someone picking it up (Bishop's return has piqued my interest, and Ron Garney is a brilliant artist).
