In the last of the episodes recorded at this year's Lawless convention Giles Wright returns with another eclectic mix of Dredd stories, all by Al Ewing.

Really enjoying this one, thanks, Eamonn. I'm only halfway through but it's made me remember how brilliant Al Ewing was on Dredd - I still say he wrote two of the best Dredd one-offs of all time (The Americans and that choose your own adventure one).

Remember how Tharg paid John Wagner extra to come back and write Dredd again? I'd be more than happy if he did the same with Al.  (Tharg paying Al, that is, not John Wagner writing Al.)

Damian Lubanski joins me in the underground bunker to see if we can survive Crossed by Garth Ennis and Jacen Burrows. Content warning, this comic includes depictions of graphic violence and sexual assault.

Really enjoyed the film club episode. I'm also a fan of Crossed - under all the breathtaking depravity, there's a strangely beautiful story of human resilience - so I'm looking forward to listening to this at work tomorrow.
