Ah! So they did decide to include Hammerstein after all.

dweezil2

Is that the Hammerstein story that tied in with the '95 Dredd movie?
Had some rather gorgeous art if I remember correctly-Kev Walker or Jim Murray wasn't it?

Jason Brashill. Can't say I ever liked his art, but he definitely had his fans.

Ah yeah, that's the fella!
Cheers!

Tales of Teleguuth is a must for me. Sounds like an excelent old school tale.

Dark Jimbo

A Telguuth collection is long overdue. It's not great, but it is a great deal of fun. Just a shame this never happened when Steve was still with us - but then I doubt the other Moore (Alan) could have been induced to write a foreword.

Tales.
Think of Tales of Telguuth as a collection of medieval fantasy 'Future Shocks'.
A mixture of one-offs and small multi-parts, my most vivid recollection is that some (if not most) of the art was superb, and the tales themselves very generally very entertaining, with some flashes of brilliance.

Think I'll be getting this.

Interesting that the Tales of Telguuth is getting out there, I was under the impression that it was creator owned, Thinking about it I have no idea why I thought that I must check further!
Some of the Telguuth tales are fun, dunno about a collection though.
Absolom Daak, Axel Pressbutton and Jonni Future all by Moore are a must read for how fun comics can be.

Richard

I loved Tales of Telguuth. My favourite episode was the first, but I like the whole series. Definitely going to get this.

Not sure what the point is of Judge Dredd: Luna-1 though, given that it is all in the Complete Case Files 1, with other stories too. Maybe it's in colour?

Skullmo

When Steve Moore was still alive I remember reading that he was preparing a collection of Tales of Telguuth for reprint by a small publisher. I wonder what changed. . .
It's a joke. I was joking.

Absolom Daak was really, really, really good!

Not reread those stories in ages.

His first appearance plus the series of short comics titled Star Tigers have been collected by Panini in Nemesis of the Daleks. Really, really good fun.

Probably, maybe it's a hardback too?

Those stories suck but always get reprinted because of the Bolland artwork.
