Didn't have the script to hand, just my dodgy memory then!  :)

Downloaded last night as I was curious to see how the Nero turned out think I made the right choice to remove the panel grid. Though am I imagining it or has the text changed? Great to see bulldog return seem to remember him appearing in the megazine a few times years ago and priest wood is a great fit for the strip.

That's the fella! Loved it guess I must have been 8 or 9 at  the time and any strip would have been enhanced by fighting werewolves  :) years later I read Stevensons the suicide club sort of bored dandies undertaking adventures in the hope they would die a glorious death. One of my many, many unfinished strip ideas was called the deadman and was a sort of amalgam of the two. Thanks for the info and the scan prof bear.

Any chance of death mask? Seem to remember loving that, Vanjo along with iain Kennedy and mike Western were my favourites as a kid and whose art I would be drawn to wether the name was on it or not. Really enjoyed the tower king though I must admit I really have no memory of the original.

Had completely forgotten that I sent you those doodles it's odd looking at them now, not sure why I ended up not drawing spencer so big and barrel chested and I missed a trick drawing the laurel wreath like that. Oh well always next time look forward to seeing it in the smaller us size.

Prog / Prog 1838 lone shark

Sinister dexter on the cover by John Charles who is maybe a new droid or certainly new to me reminds me a wee bit of cliff Robinson, a fairly standard funny with gun pose.

Dredd continues nicely with as ever with Wagner more than meets the eye going on. Lovely Dave Taylor art very European really suited to dredd.
Terror tale by the boards own monty Nero especially liked a couple of panels on the last page reminded me of John m burns
Cadet Anderson is plodding along nicely nothing spectacular but always nice to have Carlos in the prog.
Not a huge Defoe fan but it always looks good there are some weird whyndam style eyeball monsters this week that look a bit out of place.
Sinister dexter never been a fan of this but will read anything with burns artwork some lovely panels even if I have no real idea what's happening which is more down to my apathy with the strip.

Next prog high hopes for ten seconders as Edmund bagwell is on art duties.

Sort of I read it as a kid as well tried to track some down but no luck, hazy memories of old British comics are part of the influence which should become clearer as we get further into it. Kind of regretting sticking him underwater for the flashback seemed like a nice dramatic start. Over the next few pages we get his origin of sorts and learn about the original Tiger Kid.

My Grimm Brother and I have been plodding along with this between other things, Matt does a great job of making me look good. Though we could really do with a letterer no cash only glory I'm afraid.

Books & Comics / Re: PARAGON comic

Must say I agree with his nice but patchy assessment thinking about having that on business cards.
Other than that he has a fair point about reprinting the Jikan strips my one appeared what eighteen months ago, so asking someone to take a punt on thirty two pages of small press comics when a quarter of it is consistently reprint somewhat lessen the values. Overall though I do think it is a spirited effort that should continue in some way.
