Slaine Enquiry

Whilst leafing through an old 2000ad Sci-Fi Special, I came across an advert for 'Slaine: King Of Hearts'. This was described as a 48 page deluxe special which was scheduled to come out in Autumn 1996. Does anyone out there happen to know anything about this? Is it a reprint from 2000ad material or an original story?

It was intended as an original story, but when the whole specials/annuals thing was canned as being too expensive the strip itself was serialised in Twoth itself.  A quick check of Barney or this sites own thrill vault should provide the appropriate prog numbers....

Good point.  Not a great source in most circumstances so I never think to credit it, but it's right.  Progs 1033-1039.
