Is Death Aid a spin-off of The Hunters Club?

It's not bad (Ezquerra art and some nice Ennis bits that are almost worthy of Wagner/Grant), but it never really matches the Smith/Dillon original, and it does seem a bit of a shame to just throw away the concept so suddenly (though at least it's done in an amusing manner).
