Scarily enough, I knew that without resorting to Google...

Surely Goths should be linked to LRP - the number of Goths I know that like to pretend to be White Wolf Vampires and play 'Rock/Scissors/Paper' every other weekend...

I read from about Prog 220 up until prog 850, at which point I pretty much stopped getting comics altogether (was unemployed, 2K (and comics in general) weren't as good, Magic: The Gathering had just come out...), and didn't pick up 2K until prog 1000, which I thought was a good jumping on point, and I've not missed a prog since.

The figure gallery's online at heroclix.com - if you click around the site, you can also download the rules to have a look at.

Plus his defense drops down really low at that point and he gains phasing, so it's easy to get him back to your medics.

Yeah, can't you leave them lying around in a public place (Bus-stations, onna train etc.)on the off-chance that it'll attract new readers...

Unless you have it scanned into your PDA. Or
Gameboy Advance... I wonder how many progs you could fit on a GB cartridge...

One of my lightsabers is loaded up with them, so it's now Red (as all good lightsabers should be), with a +1 to hit/damage and 40% chance of stunning an opponent.

Nah, you can do sci-fi with a low budget, you just have to be intelligent about it and ditch the space-battles and laser guns.

I'm sure the Beeb could knock together a series where the Doctor's can only travel backwards in time through Earth's history but has to unravel some form of plot - sort of a 'Momento' type thing. And that way they can just use those warehouses of period drama costumes that they probably have lurking about somewhere...

And Half Life 2 - oh, hang on - that's been delayed until the 'Holiday season'. Bloody games programmers, why can't they schedule properly...

True, but I do have a friend who's got a complete collection from #1 with specials + megazines and has done it - They take up about 1 1/2 bookshelves in his living room (but it's rather nice when I go to stay and can re-read some of the early progs that I don't have :) )

Umm, what's wrong with using prog-binders (when some come into stock) and then just writing on the spines which stories are in the issues?

I've always wondered how easy it would be to scan the pages of a strip, bind 'em together in a decent way and stick them on the bookshelf, allowing me to keep the original progs in the attic...
