Nice article! There are loads more I'd throw in - Zenith springs to mind, possibly updated for those youngsters who couldn't possibly be expected to get the 80s pop culture references.

I'd like to see Cradlegrave too - wouldn't need a massive budget there, just a decent modelmaking department.
"Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest"

Funt Solo

Some of the long-form thrills are difficult to nail down in terms of making a concise movie (just see the trouble they got into with the Stallone Dredd), so I'd tend towards some shorter, more structural thrills.

Of course, Button Man, as you suggested. It's even parceled up with built-in sequels.

Here's my other ten:

Hope
Fiends of the Eastern Front
Harry Twenty On The High Rock
Family
Realm of the Damned
Bison
American Reaper
Chiaroscuro
Snow/Tiger
13/Thirteen
Shok! ... oh, wait ...

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Old age is the Lord's way of telling us to step aside for something new. Death's in case we didn't take the hint.
