The crowdfunding campaign has been successfully fulfilled and the reviews have been excellent all round. With all now being said and done we will be closing it down on the 31st of March, so there is still time to order a copy if you haven't done so already: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/mary-boys-beefheads--2#/

We've smashed our £10 stretch goal goal and have announced a new one! A sticker by Mark Marianelli (the talented bastard who did our theme song) if we hit £15K before the 25th of November. There's 24 days left to be part of this thing, so if you haven't checked it out, go on and have a look at what the fuss is all about:

The new Mary Boys currently doing well at £6,842, so we've announced a stretch goal:

John Freeman of Down the Tubes has read the first comics and has given us a glowing endorsement: https://downthetubes.net/?p=131110

Check this out. The earlier comics are available on the same campaign:

It's another comic about those teenage lager-guzzling Knights Templar stomping a path of righteous salvation through their backwater English town, cleansing it of its many social evils to avoid an impending biblical apocalypse. Watch gangsters, pimps, football hooligans and other deserving low-lives and weirdos getting savagely trampled under size 16 Doc Martens in this new 74 page collection of self-contained Mary Boys stories drawn in a style influenced by the likes of Jack Davis, Will Eisner and Wally Wood and written with an uncompromising and utterly irreverent punk attitude that made the first two Mary Boys comics (available to buy on this campaign) such a huge hit with readers.

Sound good? Back it here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/mary-boys-beefheads--2#/

Ooh, really? I've got these in my reading pile (Currently about to start the books I was bought in December 2018 so it might take me a while) so reading this makes me think that by the time these get to the top there may well be a follow-up.

Awesome! If you do please post your feedback. I'm always keen for reader input, good or bad.

I think there was a more recent thread, but I couldn't find it.

My copies of Mary Boys issues 1 & 2 arrived, and they are a lot of fun. The additional 'making of' booklet is interesting too, how he came out of some shitty times by going back to basics and learning new drawing techniques from scratch. The artwork is delightfully brutal (or do I mean brutally delightful?).

My only criticism is that over two issues, we only get scene-setting and background. I can see his passion for these characters as they gestated, but as a reader, I'm wondering where the story is. I hope we'll get to find out.

Hi Dan. Thanks for supporting this. This was just the origin story and their 'first' night out to set the ground work. Plenty more to come. The next book will be a collection of short stories, so if you enjoyed it so far just watch this space for updates. I'm aiming to do at least some of it painted in full colour next time round.
