I'm not going to get too excited about it until they announce some cast.
I thought the last one was half decent but needed an extra pass through the editing suit.
I still prefer Ron Perlman as Ol' Red but that ship has sailed.

Hundreds of redundancies but at least The Beano has survived the cull. I was worried it would be put up against the wall.

Apologies, I just realised that my original post goes against board rules and must include a price.

Cheapest I can see anywhere on line is £175 for an unsigned edition which does not include P&P.
With that in mind, I'd say match that price £175 for this signed edition and I'll cover P&P.

A bargain compared to the copies on eBay!

Classifieds / Brian Bolland Apex Edition - SIGNED

Looking to sell my Brian Bolland Apex Edition, signed by the man himself.
These are going for silly money on eBay, some for sale at nigh on £500.
If you missed out on a copy - it's sold out and very collectible - make me an offer.

That list just reminds me of how few of the strips I've enjoyed this year :-(

However, top three;
1. Hershey
2. Chimpsky
3. Fiends of the Eastern Front.

The Bulldog book is landing on doormats across the land and is getting great feedback. If you missed out on it and would like one, let me know! If there's enough demand, I'll go to a second printing

Had nothing for weeks. Hopefully we'll get a free download version for the Christmas issue as we did for the previous two.

Director Mike Hodges, aged 90. The man behind the utterly brilliant Get Carter and my favourite movie, the gloriously camp Flash Gordon

This is something I've wanted to do for a long time! A hardback, special edition collecting the very best of Captain Winston Bulldog's adventures.

Bulldog has been around the small press for many, many years created by Jason Cobley in the 90's and illustrated by a plethora of artistic talent, many who have gone on to professional gigs, including the likes of PJ Holden (2000ad), Phil Elliott, Garen Ewing (The Adventures of Julius Chancer) and Neill Cameron (The DFC) along with many other notable small press names such as Mitzi, David Goodman and the late, great Stephen Prestwood.

For those who don't know, Captain Bulldog in an anthropomorphic hero defending the skies above Blighty during the Vegenation War (invading sentient vegetables and terrorists!) and from such ne'er do wells as Herman Von Hermann (aka Herman the German!)

Originally seen in Bulldog Adventure Magazine which morphed into BAM! when it became an anthology, these stories and that comic were the inspiration behind me launching PARAGON as an action adventure anthology (now in to it's 16th year!)

This book collects all the stories that I have reprinted in my anthology comic, PARAGON, since 2014 along with one which hasn't been seen in over 20 years. Over 100 pages of great stories, great art and great gags, many of which have been digitally re-lettered for a 21st Century readership.

Also included are sketches and commissions from talent who have contributed (some real collector pieces!) and the occasional commentary on the stories from me and writer Jason.

This is a real collector's item and if you'd like a piece of original art drawn by me, that's on offer too!
