FTTH (Fibre to the Home) is supposed to be rolled out in April next year. It should (should!) be available to anyone who can get BT Infinity.

Of course, it will inevitably be delayed. And if you can't get infinity then you are ignored.

Supposedly Virgin have been trialling this for the past year in some parts of London. They seem to be very tight lipped about it as it is just rumour.
Some facts.
The UK and Europe in general is very shit. We are classed as a third world country when it comes to internet speeds.
