Slightly spammy (but for a good cause!) -

Every year I take part in the Sick Kids Save Point, where a whole bunch of folk play games for a ludicrously long time to raise money for http://www.edinburghsickkids.org/.

This year I'm doing 24hrs but I'll raise it to 36hrs by adding an hour for every tenner over my goal I can raise.

You can donate at https://www.justgiving.com/Keith-Thorburn3
And watch the my livestream at http://www.twitch.tv/superbeasto81 (it won't be very entertaining because I'm neither an entertaining person or particularly good at games, but it's proof I haven't fallen asleep on the job or anything!)

Rough schedule is -

9am - 12pm: Shadow Of Mordor
12pm - 1pm: Kinect Sports Rivals
1pm - 4pm: Another World (full playthrough hopefully, if I don't get stuck...)
4pm - 6pm: D4 Dark Dreams Don't Die
6pm - 7pm: Kinect Sports Rivals
7pm - 8pm: Sniper Elite III Hunt The Grey Wolf
8pm (or as soon as it's dark enough) - 1am: Alien Isolation
1am - 2am: Need For Speed Rivals
2am - 4am: Alien Isolation
4am - 7am: Metro 2033
7am - 8am: Kinect Sports Rivals
8am - 9am: Titanfall (come join in!)
9am onwards anything goes really. I'll probably be terrible at anything by that point anyway.

Cheers!

Is your copy of Titan Fall a download from the Origin website.

That's where I got mine after having to download Sims Four from there to get it installed and I still can't get that one to work.

Anyway, I noticed that I need to play the game TitanFall online with other people if I am to play it at all!

So, I would love to play a game of that if your up for it.

My thoughts on the tutorial missions.......just as I thought they would be and it as kind of awesome watching my Titan fall from the sky when I called for it. Hence the title of the game. Yet, should this have been a game of Warhammer 40k where your coma ridden marine pilots a Dread-Naught. Speaking of which I have seen most of the film Edge of Tomorrow, after several viewing where I was either falling asleep or just zoning out. Despite that fact that I think they kept playing the same few moments of footage over and over again. I cheap way to fill a movie due to time-travel plot device. Although, I got the feeling this might have been a Warhammer-40K film if they only employed Basketbal and GridIron players to portray the super human Space-Marines.
