Not exactly a ringing endorsement! Maybe I will save my pennies and give it a miss...

I have never read 'Finn' and know next to nothing about it. Could someone knowledgeable recommend or otherwise? If my fellow Squaxx deem it a worthwhile purchase, I will go for the Webshop exclusive hardcover.

I'll give a vote for Stickleback.

Have to agree with Dark Jimbo about 'Fiends of the Eastern Front' if the Rebellion edition is going to exactly mirror the Hachette Partworks one in terms of content. It seems pretty pointless if the former does not include some extra material. On a side note: do we know if this is a hardcover?

Following the thread of my last post; I have calculated that for Strontium Dog 2000ad years vol. 1 to not exclude anything it would have to be a minimum of 316 pages! Does anyone think this is viable?

A vote for Stickleback.

I'll give a vote for Missionary Man.

'Strontium Dog: The Son' features the following stories:

The Son
Once Upon A Time In Der Vest
The 'Nobody Wants This Job' Job
Max Bubba Hadn't Killed Wulf
Sleeping Dogs Lie

Only one of these has been reprinted before - the 'What If? Max Bubba story'. The Judge Dredd story 'By Private Contract' did not make it in.
I have just pre-ordered my copy of the exclusive Webshop hardcover.

Regarding the 'Strontium Dog' book - Is this volume going to include all the stories from the beginning of the 2000ad run and omitting none? If this is the case and if this edition goes up to everything including 'Portrait of a Mutant', then that's eight different stories and quite a hefty page count. Personally, I am hoping that this is the case and nothing is left out. What do other's think?

I guess that 'Stickleback' volume 2 is not going to make it. A real shame.

I have just seen the advert for this on the website (arriving September) and wanted to clarify if there is any unseen material. It states in the blurb that it is a mixture of modern classics and gems from the vault, but it does say there will be an explosive "new" Judge Dredd adventure as well as a vintage Dredd case. Does this mean a brand new story or just something fairly modern and recent? It mentions the Dredd story 'Mutie Block' which doesn't ring any bells with me, but someone else may recall it?

My vote goes to the Mean Machine. Would love to see a collected edition of all his adventires.

Thanks for the feedback. The general consensus seems to be that it will be one worth picking up. I'll give it a go!

Would the Revere and The Dead volume be worth picking up? I am totally unfamiliar with both strips and need someone to recommend or otherwise.

This story also appeared in the 'Judge Death' volume published by Titan in 1983 - possibly this could be used as a future source for reprint.
