Hi there,
I got the updated release schedule for the Big Finish 2000AD audio
adventures yesterday from John Ainsworth at Big Finish, and seeing as a few
people have been asking about the adventures and such on the group, I have
decided to post it here (as well as on Dredd Times).

John says'

This is the current, slightly re-jigged schedule of confirmed titles (apart
from #8) -

AD04 - 'Judge Dredd - The Killing Zone' by Dave Stone - 17th July (delayed
from 1st July)
AD05 - 'Judge Dredd - The Big Shot!' by David Bishop - 29th July
AD06 - 'Judge Dredd - Trapped on Titan' by Jonathan Clements - 27th August
AD07 - 'Judge Dredd - Get Karter!' by David Bishop - 23rd September
AD08 - 'Judge Dredd - TBC' by TBC - 21st October
AD09 - 'Strontium Dog - Fire from Heaven' by Jonathan Clements - 18th
November

'Rogue Trooper' as been postponed indefinitely, mainly because it was
proving difficult to come up with storylines that worked with our small
casts - as effectively you have four leads which leaves us only three actors
for guest-roles. However, we haven't entirely abandoned 'Rogue' and may well
come back to him later in the series when we feel we have found the right
formula that will work on audio.

Hope this answers a few questions.

I always thought voice actors did voices so what's the problem with them doing a couple each.
Helm, Bagman & Gunnar are Bio-Chips whose voices are synthesised so their voices would sound different from the same actor playing another character.

I'm sure the BBC Dredd Audio's had small casts but they managed to do 'The Apocalypse War' and 'The Day The Law Died'.

I must admit to looking forward to the Rogue CD and still hope we see it.

Yeah, thats madness with the cast, all you need are rogue + three different syntheisised voices, which I imagine could even be the same voice messed aroun with.  And how many characters normally appear in a rogue story?  Not huge amounts.

Oh well, at least that stront one is still on the list.
