this is risky, can they truly recreate the brilliance of the original.
I will watch on the big screen. top tickets etc, such a movie deserves no less.
BUT.........

chris Pratt and Denzil washington, seem pretty good casting to me.
Recreate, never but I welcome any western these days and personally enjoyed the sequels so the format is always a winner

Yeah we're as I normally bemoan the remake of classics as it's a western and there's too damned few of them around so I'll take what I can get. Alway like Denzil, don't know enough about Pratt.

Unless they get Akira Kurosawa (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Samurai#Legacy) to direct it no they can't.
I suppose in this age of franchises the worry is that all 7 survive for the sequel!
