Unceremoniously dumped, just when it seemed to be going quite well.
As far as I can make out, there was no real problem beyond her being an even bigger commitment-phobe than me.
Ah well - form an orderly queue, ladies...

My LCS failed miserably to get the original comics in, despite my pestering uh, reminding them every couple of weeks. I've now made it about as clear as I can that I'd really appreciate it if they didn't fuck this one up and even watched as one of the guy wrote it down on a piece of paper. If they cock this one up, I'm moving my sub to Forbidden Planet...

Excellent news. Looking forward to following this. Naturally, if you need any extras, I already look like I was warped at birth by the effects of nuclear fallout...

Regardless of how much of a blight Scojo has been over the years, he's permabanned and no longer a problem. If he was here and causing trouble, I'd be right behind you in telling him to piss off, but I can't help but feel that poking fun at a man with obvious mental health issues when he's not here to defend himself is a bit of a shitty stunt.

I don't know about the biggest, but I'm clearly the best.

IIRC (and it has been a while since I read the "Making of..." book), one of the lead writers had already started working a zombie game, which ended up getting canned. Seems the guy really wanted to make a zombie game...

Yep - put bluntly, nobody needs the mental image of your knocking shop escapades rattling around inside their head. I'm far from prudish, but you're giving me the horrors, man.

Um, Thryllseekyr?  Could you lay off the creepy shit?  I know the long rambling posts and digressions are kind of your thing, but there are some things it's OK not to share.  Ta.

Back on-topic: I've been playing Shadowrun Returns, which is a nice update of the old SNES isometric RPG, with a stylistic nod to the newer X-COM titles. I've finished the main storyline, which I enjoyed so much that I bought the Dragonfall DLC, which I'm currently wading through. The only downside so far is that I couldn't bring my character from the first mission over to the DLC. Lovely stuff, though. Heartily recommended for fans of old-fashioned RPGs.

I bought two bags of Rolo cookies from Tesco yesterday and brought them into work for everyone to share. I ended up eating most of them. I have no regrets.

Hope you're functional soon, SBT.

SBT: This has amused me no end. I'm sitting at my desk trying not to let my mirth show *too* much.

Life is sometimes sort of okay because I've just had a refund for a parking ticket I got in Leeds last month. My moany email about their incredibly misleading (some would say downright dishonest) sign seems to have done the trick. Huzzah!
