ok im a reasonable guy. dredd over the last few years has been showing some signs of compassion, little traits, doubts and quetions, even arguing with the cheif judge, his IM SORRY statement was great ONCE, and once again showed a slight shadow of darker things.

im sure we are being led along the greastest story line ever to be told with these insertins and one off stories and occasional sttements hes makin.


But TWICE in one episode the second was correct and had impact, the firt one? why over a young judge who died in the line of duty would dredd say sorry. that was a wasted moment and not at all correct.

i enjoyed sin city though i  felt many of the characters where underused, and wonder if somewhere in wagners mind this was that just another layer of the story yet to be written.
 orlok back,was there has to be more to it then that, so one dimensional as well. Rico Dredd is developing, are we going to see the passing of the badge? the long walk for Joe?
it all remains to be seen,
but two im sorry was a let down and caste a certain dissapointment over a good story line.

 

i have just ordered a full set of big finish CDs any one else here got a couple other then the freebie we all received, what where your feelings, impressions to date?.
it will take three weeks till i get them out here,
until which time i have to deal with the wrath of devons mummy.
 so tell me is it going to be worth it.

ok its july, i know, but now is the time to act.
its about time we had return to form with the christmas prog.
yes we deserve a gibson drawn, wagner written all about christmas dredd story, something irrevalent and funny, with several santarinas drawn by gibson, maybe in slip in a HALO JONES there as well, as its christmas it should be a full colour strip 8 pages with wonderful centre spread opener.
thats all i want and i promise to be good all year and leave a glass of milk and biscuits for every one at the rebellion office on christmas eve.

i just read some of the scripts posted by people who vist this site.
 some really great stuff on here.
any who have not yet given it a look should take the time to do so.
 a good way to spend an hour.

what was in your opiopion a classic moment for Dredd.a given single image that said something to you or made you smile. example
 scene when the dead man picks up a judge badge and realises he is dredd, or the recent one when dredd catches the second dart fired at him by the no kleg zone baby grow clad toddler.

some good stuff. take a look good and entertaining and its getting better as he goes.

questions
whats the deal with unofficail merchandise then, seen and purchased plenty of trek stuff. sometimes more to my taste then the offical stuff,
copyrights a given ok. but what about some small scale things, like the dredd models and things of that nature?
is it legal can the producer get in trouble. if he is say selling on the internet to hard core fans?
any one know?

anyone had the pleasure of viewing the ian gibson link to life boat posted by blackblood on the halo jones thread?
gibson at his finest by the look of things. 2000ad or the megazine could do well by a decent gibson drawn story arc. ok not the babes are not halo jones i know. but gibson characters are always superb. give it a look and any one from rebellion should consider having it as the office screen saver until someone picks it up and runs with it.
THARG you listening? come on. the characters woudl make great umpty designed t shirts or mousse pads.

i just cant help it. this umpty stuff is so addictive you know.

its time to reprint HALO JONES in all her glory. then beg ian gibson to start drawing her again.megazine or 2000ad. either is acceptable, there seems to be some young men who collect 2000ad who have not met her.
should we allow a whole new generation to not understand what we are longing after.
 times up rebellion. if we all post our allegience to this issue we can see her return, not a reprint collection we NEED weekly doses with gibson drawing covers to bring more hands to the shop shelf to grab an issue, the time is right the time is now.

seen all the great icons, need some help have tried in vain up to now to get the finn icon from the 2000ad  site as my icon , to yet no avail
i type in  /icon finn.GIF and yet not able to appear. any tips. once i get it will endevour to create one of my own till then any one able to help.

just a note. it may not be out it the UK yet, but he lastest tom criuse movie  minority report, basic story line.
 new police division of future readers called PSD
 ( PSI a bit close i feel) or PRE COGS informs the police about crimes about to be committed. the police swoop in arrest the suspect and lock him up. sound familair. reckon there is a law siut for rebellion go to court armed with a few progs and reveal steven speilberg is a in breach of copy right and claim half the movies royalites. 2000ad will be then able to give us all here a free t shirt as designed by uncle umpty. sounds like a good plan to me. by the way movie is good and a lot of questional references to things long present in the big meg.

just a suggestion. i own a few peieces of origanl art work. got it off eh net there are a few good sites out there. soem artists sell direct as well.
 what about an officail link to these sites in the site.
i would use this service if avaible im sure many others would. somthing specail about owning a piece of orginal art work.

for years i have received my regular fix via brown parcels through my father.faithfully mailing me throughout the world.
the fact that Singapore has now realised the error in its ways there is hope for hope for all that consider this Island home.
 SINGAPORE allows 2000ad.  it only took 25 years.
all employers should now rebrand the region as a non hardship posting.
