According to Twitter, below is the image that got Jock his 2000AD break. It's bloody lovely:

Indeed it is.

That lawgiver looks MASSIVE. I thought it was just a perspective thing (*cue the famous Father Ted and Dougal scene*) but no it's more than that.

Not a bad way to go from a stylistic stand-point. It gives me amusing images imagining it strapped to his boot, though.

I love that painting... Amazing stuff.

As for the pic Logan posted above, it reminds me of the style McCarthy developed on stuff like Riders on the Storm...

Well Dredd definitely looks like he's going to 'break' something.
