Now, I realise this is a bit late and I'm sure I've missed another thread discussing the same thing, but I really, really enjoyed Gordon Rennie's Dredd story about him hitting the boozer on his time off. Just the kind of one-off I like, and one of Mr Rennie's best yet.

Loved the line about the locals in the pub not being model citizens but also not being total scumbags either, showed a more understanding streak to dredd and also reminded me of the locals in my local boozer

I didn't like it. The line about bribing a judge was very clever though.

Dredd shouldn't question his actions too much. And seeing what he's thinking should be rare too, he's more of a mystery that way. Does he care? Is he human?

Still a fine story. (Gordon does the site after all!)

I have been emailing tharg for ages asking for dredd to have a more human side, its boring to see the same old 'your judged' each week.

The odd strip like this gives dredd a lot more depth.
