I've heard the odd mention of this film, but always assumed it was an adaptation of the comic Ex Machina - apparently not!

Alex Garland writing and directing, Domhnall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac starring, Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury (aka DROKK) doing the soundtrack.... This is shaping up to be a must-see, can't wait.

28 Days Later is the most (relatively) successful and popular film in that list, thus likely to attract more attention on a poster.

He wrote the novel The Beach but the adaptation was done by John Hodge.

Didn't Hodge also write The Sweeney, which (humiliatingly) knocked Dredd off the top of the UK box office? ISTR someone saying The Sweeney was originally being produced by DNA too...?

DNA were going to make The Sweeney with FOX Searchlight but FOX pulled out a few weeks before shooting was to start. They moved on to Dredd when it fell through.
