Title: Pianist envy
Post by: 2000AD Online on 02 September, 2002, 06:17:51 PM
Some fifteen years ago I remember being shown at school a program about computer animation. One of the sequences had a French pianist reminiscing about his career as he tinkled on the ivories. Now the reason I mention this is that the sequence ended on a profoundly depressing note with this chap saying something along the lines of 'I used to be someone' before calcifying and his disintegrating remains being blown away on a gust of wind.

Any ideas? If it's any help, the animation style was the same as an advert for eye drops accompanied by 'We Have All the Time in the World' by Louis Armstrong.
