What would you want from a new 'classic' 2000AD story?

Good call Nemesis

In the late eighties, everything seemed to be a grim vision.  Even Judge Dredd is a lot more depressing than it used to be.

Also agree on the guns and death thing.  When poeple died in Halo Jones, even the war in Moab, it was genuinely shocking.

I think with the success of dredd and a few similat strips it has all become a bit formulated now.

Thank you Mr Wood.  It took me ages to write that long-winded ramble - I'm only a little pig and my trotters barely reach the keyboard - so it's nice to know it wasn't in vain!

On the subject of quirkiness, my prayers appear to have been answered: you don't get much weirder than Shakara.
