I would imagine as they are B/W inked pages that a gentle ironing on the reverse side of the artwork should see them recover....
From the pieces shown, it looks as if you have an inch or so at the top and the bottom, that you can 'test' without damaging the art....
Good luck......Lovely pages as well !!
Cheers.

Wasn't quite sure where to put this so I'll try here.

Anyway some thoughts on one of the Steve Yeowell pieces I bought recently.

Great Stuff Colin_YNWA....
I take it you are 'really pleased' with your artwork !!!....Not that it's at all obvious......
Good article though ...Really enjoyed your reasons why you loved it so much !!
Cheers..

I enjoyed your blog post, Colin. We are all different - we all like different artists and different stories. Some people don't like Leigh Gallagher and his work on Defoe... Still, they aren't chasing his work and I am, so leaves more for me!

As a relative newbie, I haven't really come across Yeowell very much. That piece you reviewed doesn't inspire me to look much further (it's the while space, there is no white space in life and I can't see past it in comic art - it just bugs me...). But fair play to you for writing your piece and showing your passion.

At the end of the day it's your money and your collection. No-one can ever be "wrong" in the art they like (except if you don't like Leigh Gallagher, because people who don't are SO wrong about that  :D)

Some beautiful work from a Mr Richard Elson:

Elson gives good Kano, right enough. I saw that for sale - wasn't sure if it had appeared anywhere in print, but I notice you've got a colour version on your CAF site. Was it used somewhere in the prog or a collection?

I was 'speaking' to Richard in the week; I thought I remembered seeing it in colour but couldn't remember where - he did it as part of the 2000AD 30th Anniversary celebration so appeared in the prog sometime around March 2007 and recoloured for the Brett Ewins tribute.  He's sending me the other colour files so I'll be adding those to CAF when they arrive.

Ah, cheers for that - that's why I couldn't place it, 'cos I had a gap in my prog-reading in the mid-late 00s. Great piece - he gives Kano a wonderful solidity.

You can't beat a bit of Mr Elson. A fine piece of squiggling...

A lovely piece of Kano, Mark.....

A very 'physical' piece...
And the secret's obviously out as the box is open...........Just a really amazing piece of art....
I'm actually coming to really like Black and White artwork the more I see of it here .....And I've always preferred Colour before...
That piece is brilliant.....and your recent Defoe DP spread by Leigh Gallagher, still takes my breath away !!....I always have a quick look at it whenever I'm over on CAF.....
Great stuff..
Cheers
