Anybody read this?

I notice that it's a Harvey Award Winner, and that Issue 8 has a cover by Bolland, with interior art by Philip Bond (another underused x-2000AD artist who draws women to die for!), and one of the stories is written by the impressive Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina)

Is it any good?

No, I haven't read any of these, but I'd like to.  I've read the book, though, and it's great.  How much do I like Bolland's cover for number 7?  Lots.http://www.sugarbombs.com/kavalier/bolland1.jpg">

The novel 'amazing adventures of Kavalier and Klay' was great - not perfect (rambled a bit later on and treated the gay character very condescendingly) but very readable and crammed full of good research on comics in Days of Yore. I posted a review of it here ages ago.

those covers are nice

The comics are an enormous amount of fun, especially if you've read the novel that it's based on. Though you don't HAVE to have read it to appreciate it.

Consider it akin to seeing 'Springtime for Hitler' at the theatre. You could still enjoy it even if you hadn't seen The Producers.

Great pastiche comics, often great underused artists.
