After the drama of yesterday some less dramatic (possibly) votes today, though no less interesting. This vote hangs on how funny you find Droid Life and what you can forgive other concerns for because Journal of Luke Kirby (my opinion you lot have you own for some crazy reason). But in saying that its important to remember we are voting based on writing for Tharg (not issuing work / ownership)  so that said

Cat Sullivan - http://www.2000ad.org/?zone=droid&page=profiles&choice=CATS

OR

Alan McKenzie - http://www.2000ad.org/?zone=droid&page=profiles&choice=ALANMC

What is all this nonsense you ask well we're finding out whose 2000ad (Meg and associated items) writing do you prefer? Voting - just add a comment here with whose work you prefer (and anything else you might wish to say to discuss their work). This vote closes some time early Wednesday 3rd June?

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Old age is the Lord's way of telling us to step aside for something new. Death's in case we didn't take the hint.

McKenzie For Like Kirby, as much as I like Droid Life and dislike what else McKenzie has written for the Prog.

Given that I don't know Luke Kirby all that well, I'm left to judge McKenzie mainly on various episodes of Bradley and Brigand Doom. That means a fairly easy win for Cat Sullivan, some of whose Droid Life(s) have properly made me laugh out loud in the past. Best Tooth humour strip since DR & Quinch.

I like Droid Life, but this is still an easy win for McKenzie. It's true that he has written some truly terrible stuff, but that is massively outweighed by the good: Summer Magic, The Night Walker, and Bradley.

Bradley deserves a floppy.

There's a gag there somewhere... too hot to find it but can you all be lovely pretend I did and giggle?
