Flesh is another choice of "other".I would base it on Book 2 rather than book 1 or just do both.It would piss all over the Jurassic Park films.

Can't believe I didn't say that as I've whittered on about it so often in the past. 'Flesh' is just crying out for a movie to be made of it. I'd go for Book 1 myself, or something based on that BUT either way cowboys and dinosaur = box office heaven... in my world at least!

Always a bit of fun this sort of question. Personnally having just read the early episode's of Dante for the first time I think that'd make a magnificent movie. As long as you get the character of Dante translated well to screen (which I guess is a pretty big task) you've got a winner all round on your hands.

Who'd win in a fight between, his namesakes, himself, Liam and No... nah that's just repeating myself and anyway we all know we'll all win as Oasis will split up (again!)

My re-read has now turned into a... well ... read I guess as I start on the issues I've never read before. Now a year at a time and reading everything one issue at a time and not cherry picking story by story.

While on holiday I made very good head way on issues 1000 - 1049 and there's much to discuss but was surprised to find there wasn't a review topic on this one so here I go.

Absolutely loved Mazeworld and beautiful Arthur Ransom art aside not entirely sure why? I wasn't convinced at all by the lead character Adam Cadman and his path to redempsion. There seemed to be a rebellion, cos that's what happens in these things and the baddie was well... just such a standard baddie. Roll it all together and it should have all been a bit of cliched nonsense (and maybe it was?) BUT somehow it hung together really well and even given the fact that its hard to not love something drawn that exquisitly its really is greater than the some of its parts.

Yeah just read the third issue and echo wants already been said. I'm loving the development of the [spoiler]Doll Girl in an 'evil Robin' role. Daimon's mistakes surely coming back to haunt him?[/spoiler]

The line of Dick's in response to Gordan's chastisment is just another of those classic Morrison moments. Lovely stuff.

The funeral is being delayed due to Noel and Liam arguing over which of them has the most expensive looking coffin. 

As I recall back in the day when they first started the NME had stories like this with one or other of the Gallaghers having a tissey fit ever other week. Heavens it must have been a while ago if I was still reading the NME!

The fabulous old boardgame from Games Workshop would contain lots of useful info on weapons, units, hazards etc (pass the Anti-Stamell Gas!). They often pop up on e-bay - this one's currently at £8.99 with less than 24 hours to go. No idea what they usually finish for though, probably something outrageous. How I wish I'd kept mine...

Now I've never been a fan of Rogue Trooper but that board game was class

Been away on me hols and so read this issue 6 days ago now. Great stuff all good, verging on great strips. However even though we got extra lenght on a couple the issue felt a little short with only three strips. That said the stuff coming up looks very very exciting and there are good times ahead.

Should just add my voice to those expressing excitment at 'The Grievous Journey of Ichabod Azrael and the Dead Left in His Wake' - that title and that ad have got me chomping at the bit. Always love me a bit of western and add to that a 2000ad edge and I have very high hopes for this one.

Have the progs you were missing turned up. I read (I assume over at you're blog) that some appeared BUT have they caught up and did those random gaps (I seem to remember you talking about) get sorted?

I'd be careful using Silveracre as a price guide as they do rather inflate the values when compared to say the eBay market... well alot actually! To be fair probably because they have significent overheads due to the size of the stock they carry???
