I don’t think I’d have the courage to risk a partwork of this sort now. Imagine spending north of a grand and the thing being nuked at that point. At least with books, you get something of individual value and worth each month/fortnight, even if the series doesn’t complete.

The Marvel Movie Figurine Collection from Fanhome this looks lke the od Eaglemoss collection
They say 80 1:16 scale figures in the range £3.99 for the first then£15.99 each with the option of paying an extra £1 per issue for 5 differant Iron Man suits plus a £1  S&H cost per issue working out to about £1350 until they decide to add more to the collection

At least those have value as individual items if the collection is cancelled, but 16 quid per item feels a bit spendy to me.
